Mr. Healey commented he had met with Hr. Rick Hall, Chairmsn of the Board of Bayview
Gsrdens, Inc., in order to discuss possible alternative proposals which would allow
for.future property improvements and maintenancs of present medium density character
of the development. Three options were discussed but no solution was attained.
Mrs. Vada Vuncannon, 2855 Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, President of Congregational House/
Bayview Gardens Neighbors Organization. stated the manager of their developm8nt had
commented that any problems had been resolved. She appeared in support of proposed
rezoning and felt that any future construction costs would increase rentals.
Ms. Marion Stone. 28S5 Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, stated medium density category is
desirable to maintain the present standard of living.
Mr. Rick Hall, Chairman of the Board of Bayview Gardens, Inc.. reiterated his comments
of November 17 in that he desires no change in zoning which would preclude any options
for future expansion. Further, he commented that studies reflect a need for more
housing for the elderly in order to meet a community need.

rezoning classification.
No one appeared in support of' above request.
A letter of opposition was received from Mr. G. Hunter Dott (dated November 30, 1981).
Mr. Healey referred to an aerial photograph in locating subject property, commenting
that 5.2 acres are under consideration and that a lake covers approximately one-third
of the site. He emphasized there is an opportunity to have a single point of access
from Belcher Road in this proposed development.
Mr. Kuntz expressed concern that proposed RM-8 classification is in the midst of
a single family residential area.
Mrs. Regulski expressed concern regarding additional traffic generation.
MOtion was made by Mr, Bickerstaffe, seconded by Mr. Goodwin, to recommend approval.of
above request. Motion carried 5-4.
