City's exhibit No.1, a copy of' the inspection report sent to Mrs. Karelis and City's composi t Exhibit No. 2 (a through f), pictures of the condition of the property were presented into evidence. Mr. Hopkins stated he had done a followup inspection and the rear building has been remodeled and repaired. The work remaining to be done is the painting of the house and repair or removal of guttering. CASE 80. 8-83 Off' Shore Lounge 1445 u.s. 19 South (Sign Code) o @ The City's exhibits No.1, a picture of the sign in question and City's exhibit No. 2 being a building permit from the County issued in October, 1979 for a 10' x 40' sign were submitted into evidence. Stuart Williams, Sign Inspector, stated there is no permit for the lower portion o~ the sign which measures B' x 16'. The signs do not meet city requirements and there are no county permits for the lower portion of the sign. In September of 1982 the sign was removed and re-erected without a permit. The defendant or his representative was not present. Discussion ensued regarding whether or not the sign was grand fathered in when this property was annexed into the City and also whether or not there are other signs on the property. It was stated that there are other signs identifying the business in question. Exhibit No.3, a sign inventory for the property was submitted into evidence. Mr. Hostetler moved that regarding case Ro. 8-83 re: violation of' Section 143.21(a)(1) of the Clearwater City Code on property with a legal description as follows: M&B 4-2A Section 20-29-16. CASE RO. 9-83 Russell Lee Freeman 802 Jurgens St (Standard Building Code) Manley Mallett, City Inspector, indicated an inspection was done at the requst of Community Development. He found that roofing repairs had been done. No permit had been pulled and the roofing was done improperly. Russell Freeman stated he had informed the owner of the property he did not have a license and that she would have to get a permit. Discussion ensued whether or not the proper party was being charged. o Mr. Winner moved that regarding Case Ro. 9-83 re: violation of Section 133 of the Clearwater City Code on property with a legal description as follows: Part of Lot 2, Block B, Jergens SUbdivision, 802 Jurgens Street.
