Commissioner Garvey moved to accept the recommendation of the
Advisory Committee. Motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimously.
b. Pension to be Granted.
The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory
General Employees' Pension Fund that the employee listed
Retirement Pension under Section 5 of
Committee,
below be granted Employee
Employees' Pension Plan.
John C. Pitts, Fire Chief, Fire Department, effective July
26, 1982, in the amount of $3,050.82 per month.
Commissioner Garvey moved to grant the pension request.

The City Manager noted receipt of a letter from Natalie Garretson
requesting an appointment with the Pension Trustees. He stated he
had requested she put her questions in writing before appearing before
the Trustees.
