ORDINANCE NO. 6774 -01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO DESIGNATE THE LAND USE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF CARDINAL DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET NORTH OF STATE ROAD 590 AND 305 FEET SOUTH OF NORTH TERRACE DRIVE, CONSISTING OF NORTH 72 FEET OF LOT 69 AND THE SOUTH 3 FEET OF LOT 68 OF PINELLAS TERRACE IN SECTION 05, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1751 CARDINAL DRIVE, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS RESIDENTIAL LOW; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by designating the land use category for the hereinafter described property, upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, as follows: Property North 72 feet of Lot 69 and the South 3 feet of Lot 68 of Pinellas Terrace, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 49, Page 52, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida. (ANX 01-01-04) Land Use Cateoorv Residential Low Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 6773-01, and subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to 9 163.3189, Florida Statutes.
