A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ASSF.SSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
BLOCK D, LOT 37, GREENWOOD PARK, FOR 'rHE COSTS OF
DEMOLITION IN 'l'lIE AMOUNT OF $l,62G.OO INCURRED IN
REMOVING 11. DANGEROUS STRUCTURE.
~IEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 138 of the Code of Ordinances, City of
Clearwater, and the standard Building Code, the Building Official determined
that certain real property heroinafter described and the building situated
thereon were unsafe, unsanitnry, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous
and detrimental tothe health, safety, morals, and the general welfare of
the community, and did not properly comply with the requirements of said
Codes and
WHEREAS, the ~lner of said real property wished' to dispense with formal
notice and hearing prior to the structure being demolished and has executed
a Waiver of Notice and Hearing, requesting the City to demolish the
structure utilizing its normal procedureJ and

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has caused the demolition of the
building, and the cost of such work should now be assessed as a lien on
behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property:
NO\~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 138 of the Code of Ordinances, City
of Clearwater, and properly executed Waiver of Notice and Hearing, the
owner of real property described as:
Block D, Lot 37, GREENWOOD PARK, UNIT NO.2, according
to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book e, Page 16,
of the Official Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
also known as 110e and 110ai ~ngrnan street, Clearwater,
Florida.
~he record title holder to said property appears to be
Rhoda Vinetta Williams, 1316 Springda1e Drive, Clearwater,
Florida, 34615, according to the Public Records and the
current tax roll of Pinellas County, FloridaJ
and the City of Clearwater having now completed said work, the City
. Co1nmission,\does hereby assess and Charge a lien on behalf of the City of
Clearwater against the property for the necessary cost incurred as follows:
Demolition Cost - $1,626.00
section 2. As soon as practicable, A Certificate of Indebtedness

against the property for the amount of assossment 13111111 be propared, which
certificate shall constitute Q lien prior to all other liens except the
lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the
City in not exceeding ten (10) equal annual inatallments with interost at
a rate not greater than eight percent (8\) per annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of
Lien in the amount of the assessment against said property, and to record
the same in the Public Records of Pinellus County, Florida.
Section'4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption. .
