A RESOLUTION OF 'rilE CITY OF CLBARWA'l'ER, FLOHIDA,
ASSESSING PROPERTIES OENEFITING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION
AND EXTENSION OF A SAN1'l'ARY SEWER SYSTEM WI'llHIN
JOHN'S PARKWAY. SUBDIVISION 1\ND 1\ POR'rrON OF 11HE
NW 1/ 4 OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHI P 29 sou'rt!, RANGE
16 EAST, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC HEARING.
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1986, the City Commission adopted
Resolution N~. 86-33 declaring its intent to proceed with tho
construction and extension of a sanitary sewer system within
John's Parkway Subdivision and a portion of the NW 1/4 of Section
16, Township 29 South, Range 16 Eost; and
WHEREAS, following the adoption of such Resolution, the
following improvements were made:
Construction and extension of a sanitary sewer
system within John's Parkway Subdivision and a
portion of the NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 29
South, Range 16 East.
The properties facing and abutting these improvements are deemed
to derive special benefits therefrom; and
WHEREAS, the assessment roll required by Section 117.09, Code
of Ordinances, has been prepared for the project; and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1986, the City Commission adopted
Resolution No. 86-69 establishing a public hearing date for
December 11, 1986, pursuant to the requirements of Section 117.10,
Code of Ordinances, wherein property owners involved may appear
and inquire into, the costs of the project and the amount to be
assessed each property owner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
CO~~lISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to provide each
. property owner list.ed on the confirmed assessment roll a statement
setting forth the confirmed assessment applicable to the property
owner's propp.rty. Such statement shall advise the property owner

that the assessment must be paid within thirty (30) days of the
date of the statement.
,~ectio~ 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to issue certifi-
cates of indebtedness in the manner provided by Section 117.11,
Code of Ordinances, for all assessed property where the assessment
is not paid within thirty f30) days of the date of the assessment
statement.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon adoption.
