ASSBSSlNG CBRTAIN RBAI~ PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
LOTS 21 AND 22, BLOCK B, BELLRAm mGHLANDS SUBDIVISION
FOR THB COSTS OP DBMOLlTlON IN THB AMOUNT OP $2.131.11
INCURRBD IN REMOVING A DANG8ROUB STRUCTURE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 138 of the Code of Ordinances, City of
Clearwater, and the Standard Building Code, the Building Official determined that
certain real property hereinafter described and the building situated thereon were
unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and detrimental to the
health, safety, morals, and the general welfare of the community, and did not
properly comply with the requirements ot said Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 138.02, City Code, the Building Official found
that an emergency existed which, In his opinion, Involved imminent danger to human
life and health, and ordered the demolition of the building; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution 86-45 on August 7, 1986,
following-a public hearing thereon, finding the building to be an unsafe building and
ordering corrective action,~o be taken within 30 days after adoption of the resolution,
and ordered the City Mannger to demolish the building if the corrective action was
notte.ken;and
WHEREAS, the necessary corrective nction was not taken within the time
provided; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has caused the demolition of the building,
and the cost of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of' t.he City at
Clearwater against the property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
,OF THE'ClTY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 138.02, Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater,
the Building Official having ordered the demolition of the building situated on the
follOWing described property:
Block B, Lots 21 and 22, BELLEAIR HIGHLANDS SUBDMSION,
according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 5,
Page 98, of the Official Records of Pinellas County, Florida
also known as 516 Woodlawn Street, Clearwater, Florida. ..

, The record title holder to said property nppears to
be Charlos Robinson, 516 Woodlawn Street, Clearwater
Florida, 3351.6, according to the Public Records and
the current tax roll of Plnellas County, Florida;
and the City ot Clearwater having now completed said work, the City Commission
does hereby assess and charge a lien on behalt of the City or Clearwater ligalnst the
property for tho necessary costs incurred as followsz
Section 2. As soon as practicable, a Certltlcate of Indebtedness against the
property for the amount 01 assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall
constitute a lien prior to all other liens except the lien for taxes. Said certificate,
when issued, shall be payable to the City In not exceeding ten (10) equal annual
installments with Interest at a rate not greater than eight percent (8%) per annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice at Lien In the
amount of ~he assessment against said property, and to record the same In the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Sectlon 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
