Jesse Trueblood, Groundskeeper 1, Parks & Recreation Department, was employed by the City
on"July 15, 1972, and his pension service credit is effective on January 15, 1973. His pension
will be effective on February 1, 1997.
Mr. Trueblood'"s pension was approved by the Pension Advisory Committee (PAC) on
February 13, 1997. Section 2.393 ip) provides for normal retirement eligibility when a
participant (Section--2.393-(p)--provides--for normal--retirement--eligibility--when--a--participanol-las
reached age 55 and completed twenty years of credited service or has completed 30 years of
credited service. Mr. Trueblood qualifies under the age 55 and 20 years of service criteria.
Based on an average salary of approximately $25,417 per year over the past five years, the
formula for computing regular pensions, and Mr. Trueblood's selection of the Joint & Survivor
Annuity, this pension will. approximate $16,806 annually.

as "hazardous duty" and further specifically defines service as a Fire Training Deputy Chief as
meeting the hazardous duty criteria.
Based on an average salary of approximately $61,980 per year over the past five years, the
