Genevieve P. Beachler, Senior Service Dispatcher, Public Works Department, was
employed by the City on June 26, 1972, and began participating in the Pension Plan on that date.
Her retirement will be ' effective on August 3, 1994, at the beginning of the day.
Ms. Beachler's pension was approved by the Pension Advisory Committee at its meeting of
March 17, 1994. Based on an average salary of approximately $25,745 over the past five years a n d
the formula for computing regular pensions, Ms. Beachler's pension will approximate $14,211
annually. Charts from Finance which take into consideration mortality rates and age reflect t h e
"present value cost of financing" this pension will be approximately $120,866.
