Annex Site Improvements
RECOMMENDATION/MOTION:
To establish a budget of $70,000 for incidental funding in regard_ to the sale of the annex site.
IBl and that the appropriate officials be authorized to execute same.
BACKGROUND:
· The annex parcel is undergoing preparation to make it site-ready development.
· These costs are being incurred prior to the sale of the property.
· Negotiations are currently underway with Information Management Resources for the sale of the annex site
property.
· Funding is necessary for some basic site preparation costs including, but not limited to attorney fees,
surveys, storm water design.
· Funding in the amount of $70,000 of the Community Redevelopment Agency funding is available in
capital project 315-94714, Downtown Development. A transfer of funds to a new project 315-94765,
Annex Site Improvements, is necessary to cover the cost of these miscellaneous items.
· Reimbursement of these costs will come from the proceeds in the sale of the property.
