WEST OF BA YSHORE BOULEVARD, CONSISTING OF LOT 10,
DOWNING SUBDIVISION AND A 40-FOOT BY 125-FOOT TRACT
ON THE EAST SIDE OF LOT 10, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 3145 DOWNING STREET, INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY
LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all apJficable
requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwcter
and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
Lot 10, Downing Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 26, Page 79, Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, together with the following described parcel: Begin at the
Northeast corner of said Lot 10 thence run East 40 feet; thence South 125 feet,
thence West 40 feet; thence North 125 feet to the Point of Beginning, all being in
Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East.

Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Commission hereby accepts the
dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have
heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the
City Clerk and the Planning Director are directed to include and show the property described
herein upon the official maps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
adoption.
