ORDINANCE NO. 6906-02
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
WEST SIDE OF BROOKSIDE ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 110
FEET NORTH OF LAKEVIEW ROAD, CONSISTING OF LOT 12,
LAKE LELA MANOR FIRST ADDITION, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 1262 BROOKSIDE ROAD, INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY
LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depbted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable
requirements of Florida law in connection wlh this ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater
and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
Lot 12, Lake Lela Manor First Addition, as recorded in Plat Book 38, Page 7, Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida (ANX 01-09-27)
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Commission hereby accepts the
dedication of all easements, parks. rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have
heretofore been made by plat. deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engneer, the
City Clerk and the Planning and Development Services Administrator are directed to include and
show the property described herein upon the official maps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon a::Joption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance. including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
adoption.
