AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
EAST SIDE OF BROOKSIDE DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 500
FEET NORTH OF LAKEVIEW ROAD, CONSISTING OF M & B
22/01 IN SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST,
WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1243 BROOKSIDE DRIVE,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable
req'uirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
lOTAl. $/6100 Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
. QMAl with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Commission hereby accepts the
C~T ---deeiication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have
heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the
City Clerk and the Planning and Development Services Administrator are directed to include and
show the property described herein upon the official maps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
