EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER
LICENSE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is entered into ~ / & , 2002, between Morton Plant Hospital
Association, Inc., 1233 South F rt Harrison Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33756
(Licensor) and City of Clearwater, P.O. Box 4748, Clearwater, Florida (Licensee),
Whereas, Licensor owns the building and premises located at 1233 South Fort Harrison
Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33756 (Premises).
Whereas, Licensee may need to the use of premises as a secondary Emergency
Operations Center (EOC) in the event Licensees primary EOC is unusable,
Whereas, Licensor and Licensee agree as follows:
1, Licensee shall be entitled to use the premises as an Emergency Operating
Center for hurricanes exceeding Category II Classification orin the- event of a
catastrophic event that renders Licensees primary EOC location unusable,
2. Licensee shall provide all necessary office supplies and materials to the EOC
and will return premises to same condition after each use,
3. Licensor agrees to make premises immediately available to Licensee in the event
of an emergency, Licensor must approve any additions, alterations or
modifications to the premises by Licensee for communications or emergency
operation use.
4, Licensee shall pay its pro rata share for any utilities used by Licensee during its
use of premises,
5, Either party may terminate this agreement by giving the other party 60 days
written notice, but in no event can this agreement be terminated during an
emergency.
