RE: Annual CPI rent adjustment - Parking License
Dear Mr. Book:
,,~---_._-,_. Enclosed here\Afithis &~~ oltheConsumerR~Rdex. -AU Urban -CGRsYm8r.s,-~_._u~-~
documenting an annual CPI increase of 3% between January 2004 and January 2005.
The existing License Agreement between lane Clearwater and the City of Clearwater
governing the use of certain parking premises requires an annual rent adjustment based
on the change in the most recent January - January CPI index, with the minimum
annual rent adjustment established at 3%.
Based on the foregoing, the rent due each quarter commencing October 1, 2005 and
extending through September 30, 2006 will be $1050.58 plus 7% sales tax for a total
quarterly payment of $1124.12. That amount reflects the 3% adjustment of the current
$1091.38 quarter rent, including sales tax.
Please adjust your records accordingly, Contact me at 562-4754 if you have any
questions or if I may be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Earl Barrett
