Book, CHA General Manager Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort 715 South Gulfview Boulevard Clearwater Beach, FI. 33767-2649 RE: Annual CPI rent adjustment - Parking license Dear Mr. Book: Enclosed herewith is a copy of the Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers, documenting an annual CPI increase of approximately 2.6% between January 2002 and January 2003. The existing License Agreement between Lane Clearwater and the City of Clearwater governing the use of certain parking premises requires an annual rent adjustment based on the change in the most recent January - January CPI index, with the minimum annual rent adjustment established at 3%. Based on the foregoing, the rent due each quarter commencing October 1, 2003 and extending through September 30, 2004 will be $990.14 plus 7% sales tax for a totally quarter payment of $1,059.45. That amount reflects a 3% adjustment of the current $1,028.59 quarterly rent, including sales tax. Please adjust your records accordingly. Contact me at 562-4754 if I may be of further assistance.
