I am enclosing a copy of the Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers documenting the Index reflects an increase of 3.7% between January, 2000 and January, 2001. This is the adjustment period as defined in the license agreement. Therefore, commencing October 1, 2001 the rent payment due each quarter thereafter through September 20, 2002 will be $933.30 plus 7% sales tax for a total quarterly payment of $998.63. Your letter will be forwarded to the City Clerk and appropriate City records will reflect both the term extension and quarterly rent adjustment.
