Dear Mr. Hacket:
Effective with the September 1, 1998 lease payment, the annual rental from GTE Wireless will increase to
$13,077.18, an increase of3.0%. The CPI index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for all items for the
most recent 12 month period increased by 1.69%; however, the minimum increase called for under our
lease agreement is 3.0%, thus the annual lease payment you receive will be increased by that percentage.
