REPORT ON OPERATON AND MAINTENANCE OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLAN I 7601 HIGHWAY 301 NORTH TAMPA, FLORIDA 33610 BOB GRAHAM GOVERNOR Anthony Shoemaker City Manager City of Clearwater P.O. Box 4748 Clearwater, Florida 33518 FL003l607 Dear Mr. Shoemaker: Thank you for the cooperation of your staff in oonducting the Operation and Maintenance and Compliance and Sampling Inspection on February 28-29, 1979. No analyses was made on the final effluent from the spray irrigation fields under drain, but from your regular weekly analyses, the effluent is easily meeting the final discharge limitations. As the variance request has not been acted on, as yet, the final disposition of the final effluent from the uncompleted new plant, has not been resolved at the time of the inspection. Please continue the efficient operation of the interim plant and irri- gation system, until it can be phased out~ <Dille finalfclarifier, of the four in the new plant, had failed and the cause, as yet, has not been ascertained. Please appraise this office of the cause of this failure and when the new plant will be completed. ~ ( r Q./ ~n7!~' ;;~H. Kerns JHK/BLC/ln cc: EPA Dist NPDES Dist State Janocha ~ :~.,) .
