Dear Bill,
This letter is written to request a change to paragraph 6 of our lease agreement. We
request the right, privilege and license be granted for a period of 1 year beginning October
1 and for the same period during and subsequent option year described in Paragraph 3 of said
agreement.
Approval of this change is requested at ~our convenience and as may be appropriate.

Subject to all of the terms and conditions stated hereon and to all forms and clauses attached hereto or which may hereafter be
attached to or endorsed hereon. all of which shall constitute the Policy.
Warranted free of claim for loss or damagc caused by or resulting from strikes, lockouts. labor disturbances. riots. civil
commotions or the acts of any person or persons taking part in any such occurence or disorder.
Warranted free of claim for loss, damage or expense in consequence of any prohibition. restriction or embargo of or by any
Government or of any violation or attempted violation thereof.
Unless physically deleted, the following warranty shall be paramount and shall supersede and nullify any contrary provision of the
Policy:
The insurances afforded by the Policy arc warranted free from any claim for or in respect of any loss, damage. Ii,,' <lr
expense sustained by reason of capture. seilure. arrest, restraint or detainment, or the consequences thereof, IllY
attempt thereat. or of any taking of the subject matter insured by requisition (\\" otherwise. whether in time of pea,\ar
and whether lawful or otherwise; also from all consequences of hostilities or warlike operations (whether th '\' be a
declaration of war or not), but the foregoing shall not exclude collision. explosion or contact with any fixed or floating
object (other t,han a mine. torpec'1 or similar device). stranding, heavy weather or fire unless caused directly (and
independently of the nature of the voyage or service which the subject matter insured or:. in the case of collision, any other
vessel involved therein, is performing) by a hostile act by or against a belligerent power. and for the purpose of this clause
"power" includes any authority maintaining naval. military or air forces in association with a power; also warranted free,
whether in time of peace or war, from all loss, damage. liability or expense caused by or resulting from any weapon of war.
or any experimental or other device in the nature thereof. employing atomic or nuclear fission, fusion or reaction. or
radioactive force or matter. or the consequl'nces thereof.
Further warranted free from the consequences of civil war. revolution. rebellion. insurrection, or civil strife arising
therefrom, or piracy.
In the event that the Policy insures liabilities, this insurance, in addition to thl' f(Heglling "arranties and exclusions. is also
warrantcd free from any claim for loss, damage. Iiahility or expensc to which a w:Hilke act or the use of military or naval
weapons is a contributing cause, whether or not the assured's liability for such loss. damage. liability or expense is based on
negligence or otherwisc, and whether in time of peace or war, The emb,Hkalion. carriage, disembarkation of troops,
combatants or material of war, the placement or the subject matter insured in jeopardy as an act or measure of war tak.'n

Either party may cancel the Policy by J:ivinJ: fifleen days' notice in writinl. If a vessel is insured hereunder and such
cancellation becomes operalive when the vessel is al sea. the cancellation "ill lake effecl three days after arrival at IlOrt of
destination. If cancelled at the Ilption of llndcrwriters, premium will be returned pro rata. If al the request of the assured,
premium will be returned at shorl lerm rail'S. From all return premiums the same percentalte of deduction (if any) shall be
made as was allowed by lJnderwriters on receipt of llriJ:inal premium.
