The Clearwater Group of AA was established in 1946 and has served the community since it's inception and is the second oldest group in the State of Florida. During our tenancy in this building we have replaced the roof, installed an air conditioning system and new light fixtures, including security lights outside the building. We also have retHed portions of the floor and painted the interior of the building. We have a paid position for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building. We currently hold 19 meetings per week and Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner each year for our members and the public. We have between 800 to 1,000 members and sign an average of 80 court ordered meeting forms for the Pinellas County Court System each month. We are a non-profit organization for the purpose of serving the community. We provide free educational material on the disease of alcoholism to anyone.
