1. DURING CONSTRUCTIDN SEDIMENT IS TO REMAIN ON SITE THE
CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF EROSION
AND SEDIMENT CONTROL DEVICES PRIOR TO INITIATING AND DURING
ALL PHASES OF LAND CLEARING AND CONSTRUCTION TO PREVENT SOIL
EROSIDN AND SILTATION.
2, THE RETENTION AREAS SHALL BE ROUGH GRADED PRIOR TO
CONSTRUCTION, WITH ALL STORM WATER DIRECTED TO IT. AFTER
COMPLETION OF ALL WORK, REMOVE DEBRIS AND SILTATION FROM
THE BOTTOM OF THE RETENTION BASIN, AND FINE GRADE THE FINAL

THE OWNER SHALL RAKE ANDI OR SCARIFY THE POND BOTTOM, AS

THE PERCOLATION CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POND. THE OWNER WILL
BE RESPOSIBLE TO MAKE SURE THAT TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY

SHALL BE MAINTAINED AND MODIFIED AS REQUIRED BY

3. SEDIMENTATION BASIN; THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO
PROHIBIT DISCHARGE OF SILT THROUGH THE OUTFALL STRUCTURE
DURING CONSTRUCTION OF ANY RETENTION AREA AND WILL BE
REQUIRED TO CLEAN OUT THE RETENTION AREA BEFORE INSTALLING
ANY PERMANENT SUBDRAIN PIPE. IN ADDITION, PERMANENT

(3) DAYS OF EXCAVATION, ALL OTHER INTERIOR SWALES, ETC.,
INCLUDING DETENTION AREAS WILL BE SODDED PRIOR TO
ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY,
5. PROTECTION AND STABILIZATION OF SOIL STOCKPILES: FILL
MATERIAL STOCKPILES SHALL BE PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES BY
ON-SITE DRAINAGE CONTROLS WHICH PREVEN EROSION OF THE
STOCKPILED MATERIAL. CONTROL OF DUST FROM SUCH STOCKPILED

CURRENT SWFWMD AND F.D.E.P. RULE. THE FILTER SAND MUST BE
WASHED (LESS THAN ONE PERCENT SILT, CLAY AND ORGANIC
MATTER) AND HAVE AN EFFECTIVE GRAIN SIZE OF 0.20 TO 0,55
MILLIMETERS IN DIAMETER; AND UNIFORMITY COEFFICIENT OF 1.5
OR GREATER, AND A PERMEAB I L ITY RATE OF O. 125 CM/SEC. OR
GREATER. IF THE PERMEABILITY RATE OF THE FILTER SYSTEM
WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. THE CONTRACTOR

INCH DIAMETER PERFORATIONS PER LINEAR FOOR OF PIPE AND BE ON
THE BOTTOM 135" OF PIPE. HDPE MAY BE USED IF PERFORATIONS CONFORM
TO THIS REQUIREMENT.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDED DEWATERING MEASURES AS REQUIRED
DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE UNDERDRAIN OR PIPE AND ALL OF ITS
COMPONENTS.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT BACKFILL THE DRAIN PIPE UNTIL THE
ENGINEER HAS VERIFIED AND APPROVE THE DRAIN PIPE GRADES AND

2. NEW WATER MAINS

VERTICAL DISTANCE OF 18 INCHES BETWEEN THE INVERT OF THE UPPER PIPE AND THE CROWN
