7921-08 ORDINANCE NO. 7921-08 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROAD 590 AND MCMULLEN BOOTH ROAD, CONSISTING OF LOT 1, SOUTH OAKS FASHION SQUARE, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1500, 1510, 1520, 1530, 1540, 1550, 1560, 1570, 1580, 1590, 1600, 1610, AND 1620 MCMULLEN BOOTH ROAD, FROM INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY (IRT) TO COMMERCIAL (C); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property Zoninq District (LUZ2007 -07005) From: Industrial, Research and Technology (IRT) To: Commercial (C) See attached legal description Section 2. The City Engineer is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 7920-08 by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to 9163.3189, Florida Statutes.
