THIS AGRERKENT entered as of the 2-Y day of by the
FLogIDA, BOARD OF CONSERVATION -DIVISION OF GEOLOGY, party of th firstpart and
CITY OF CLEARWATER, F1404IDA• party of the Second part.
1. The parties hereto agree that subject to the availability of
appropriations and in accordance with their respective authorities, there is in
existence a cooperative agreement for investigation of water resources of the
State of Florida between the FLORIDA BOARD OP CONSERVATION...DIVISION Ce.GEOLOGr.
the 0. S. GEOLOG/CAL SURVEY, and.,thebrriOr pLEARATr4:, FLORIDA,, particularly
of the Hydrology Of the Aquifer System in the Clearwater Area.
2. Party of dle-tirat.'partegreet,that-records-reports, and other
items of information resulting from this inVeatigatiOn sbaU be made available
to party of the second part upon request, as proMPtlY as pobsible.
3. Party of the second part agrees to contribute the aum of $9,100.00
toward the cost of the necessary field and office work directly related to this
investigation for the period July 1, 1967 through June 30, 1.968, Such funds shall
be made payable to the PIOrida Beard of Conservation...Divioion Of Geology and placed
ta a trust fund with the State Treasurer for disbursement to the 04, S.% Geological
Survey, SUeh funds shall be matched -by State-ondiforfederalIOntle
4. The parties hereto agree that if the work is not being.earrid on in
a mutuatly satiefeetOrY-menner, either party may terminate this agreement upon
60 days written notice to the.other partY6
5. All non.expendable property necessary for the performance of -this
investigation shall be purchased from fends made available by the Florida Board of
Conservatiou0Division of Geology 9r the U. S. Geological Survey,
