SUBJECT: Improvements on S.R. 55 (U.S.19) between Haines Bayshore Road
and Seville Boulp.vard
RECOMMENDATION~ Approve Resolution authorizing the execution of a Utility
Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for the adjustments,
change, placement and relocation of City utilities in the proposed roadway
improvements on S.R. 55 (U.S.19) between Haines Bayshore Road and Seville
Boulevard.
GI And that the appropriate officials be authorized to execute same.
BACKGROUN 0:
The State of-Florida is proposing to perform roadway improvements on S.R. 55
(U. S .19) between Ha.ines Bayshore Road and Seville Boulevard.
The Department of Transportation will be widening U.S. 19 to six (6) lanes.
The Department of Transportation has asked the City of Clearwater to execute
the standard Utility Relocation forms regarding the utility adjustments
and relocations as are necessary during construction.
* Costs involved will not be known until the Department of Transportation
submits final construction plans and the City can design the relocation
plans.
