RECOM MENDATION: Approve Resolution authorizing the execution of a
Utility Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for the
adjustment, change, placement and relocation of City utilities in the proposed
roadway ~provements on S.R. 55 (U.S.19) between S.R. 60 and a point 5017 feet
Worth of S.R. 588
GI And that the appropriate officials be authorized to execute same.
BACKGROUN 0:
The State of Florida is proposing to perform roadway improvements on S.R. 55
(U.S.19) between S.R. 60 and a point 5017 feet North of S.R. 588.
The Department of Transportation will be widening U.S. 19 to six (6) lanes.
The Department of Transportation has asked the City of Clearwater to execute
the standard Utility Relocation Forms regarding the utility adjustments
and relocations as are necessary during.constructDn.
* Costs involved will not be known until the D.C.T. submits final construction
plans and the City can design the relocation plans.
