LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
THIS LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING is entered into by and between the City of
Clearwater, Florida (the "City"), and the Florida Department of Transportation
(the I'Department") relating to the new Clearwater Pass Bridge, Project No. WPI
7126698:
1. The parties hereto agree that, upon completion of the Clearwater Pass
Bridge Project, Project No. WPI 7126698, the City will not continue or extend its
tolls, but in fact will eliminate them.
2. This Letter of Understanding will be referenced to and made a part
of the maintenance and operational agreement between the parties hereto to be
executed upon final construction acceptance by the Department.
3. This agreement shall take effect when executed by both parties, on
the date as indicated below. Each party represents that the official executing
this agreement is authorized to do so on behalf of the agency of which the
official is an officer or employee.
