This letter serves as my formal resignation from the position of City Manager
of the City of Clearwater to be effective at the close of business on Friday,
June 3, 1977. On Monday, June 6, 1977, I will assume the position of County
Administrator of HUlsborough County, Florida.
On a personal level, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you
for the many kindnesses and expert guidance that you have given me. This is a
truly great and remarkable City with an outstanding staff and many truly wonder-
ful and dedicated citizens. In addition, it is one of the loveliest places that I
have ever seen. I wish you, City employees and staff all my continued best
wishes in your continuing efforts to make Clearwater an even finer place.
