The first grant is ., fixed" at a sum of $101,300. Twenty-five percent of this grant is paid to the club prior to October 30 of each year during the agreement. Subsequent payments of 25% each are to be made in January, April, and July of each year. The second grant is a ., matching grant" whereby the City will annually contribute a maximum of $16,037. Under this program, the club must first raise $8,925 in donations from the private sector. After said amount is received by the club, the City will match each additional private sector dollar the club receives up to the maximum City contribution of $16,037. On this past Friday, May 30, Mrs. Aseelah Babalola picked up a City check in the amount of $8,149.36 as partial payment toward this grant. As of this date, the club has received $17,074.36 in private donations. The $8,925 was deducted with the remaining $8,149.36 being conveyed to Mrs. Babalola.
