Dear Steve:
This letter serves as permission to access the City of Clearwater commercial fuel dock
slip #57 to pick up and drop off passengers when it is not in use. It is understood that
the boat will not be up against the seawall for more then a few minutes at anyone time
and you will not conduct any business at this access point and do not require or request
signage, a booth, etc.
It is further stipulated that your passengers will not seek to purchase parking permits to
use the marina lot for their vehicles.
This arrangement of use is temporary and may be terminated at any time by the City. It
is necessary for you to maintain $1,000,000.00 in liability insurance with the City of
Clearwater as additional insured. You will also need to sign and return the Hold
Harmless Agreement attached.
You may begin using the slip as of April 24, 2003 if the slip is available. You should call
in advance to confirm.

Hold Harmless Agreement Between the City of Clearwater
and the Clearwater Water Taxi
(1) Clearwater Water Taxi shall indemnify and hold the City of Clearwater
harmless from any and all damages, loss or liability which occurs upon the
premises used at 25 Causeway Boulevard, Slip # 57, Clearwater
Municipal Marina by reason of any injury to person or property occasioned
by an act or omission, neglect or wrongdoing of the Clearwater Water Taxi
or any of its officers, agents, representatives, guests, employees, invitees,
or persons contracting with the Clearwater Water Taxi and will, at its own
cost and expense, defend and protect the City of Clearwater against any
and all such claims or demands which may be claimed to have arisen as a
result of or in connection with the use and occupancy of the premises by
the Clearwater Water Taxi.
(2) Clearwater Water Taxi shall provide the City of Clearwater with a
Certificate of Insurance and hall provide liability insurance coverage with
limits of 1,000,000.00, suc insurance to name the City of Clearwater as
an additional insured.
