AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this I 7 day of &. ~
, 1979, by and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a
Municipal Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City", and CHARLES O. DOBBINS,
hereinafter referred to as "Contractor".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City is operating a Rehabilitation Loan Program under the
supervision and direction of the Community Development Coordinator who has been
designated the Program Director, and
WHEREAS, this program is funded solely from funds obtained from the
United States Government through the Community Development Block Grant Program
and other federal funds obtained by the City, and
WHEREAS, the continuation of federal or other sources of funding for
this program is speculative, thereby making it expedient to contract for specific
rehabilitation services in connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the faithful performance by each
of the parties of the covenants and agreements made herein, it is mutually
agreed as follows:
1. The City hereby contracts for personal services to be performed
under the supervision of the Program Director and the Contractor agrees to
personally perform those services in accordance with such supervision.
2. The services to be rendered under this agreement shall be those
described on Schedule "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein.
3. The term of this agreement shall be four months beginning
October 1, 1979 and ending January 31, 1980.
4. For said services the contractor shall be paid $4,000.00, payable
semi-monthly on the fifteenth and last day of each month during the term hereof.
5. During normal hours of the Community Development Office.of the
City, the City agrees to provide and make available to the Contractor office
space, equipment, supplies and telephone service as required by him and to furnish
clerical and secretarial services for him at no cost to the Contractor.
