FW Marriot on Sand Key (shoppes)From: Manni, Diane Sent: Monday, December 17, 2007 4:35 PM To: Everitt, Steven Subject: FW: Marriot on Sand Key (shoppes) -----Original Message----- From: Hibbard, Frank Sent: Monday, December 10, 2007 5:40 PM To: 'joe ridley' Cc: Manni, Diane Subject: RE: Marriot on Sand Key Mr. Ridley, I appreciate the concern that all the residents of Sand Key have over the shoppes, they are a part of your neighborhood and provide tremendous convenience. The process in determining the zoning of the property is called quasi judicial and I believe that the residents are taking the right steps in getting some legal advice to understand the grounds on which you should oppose change. I have heard very clearly what the desire of the residents is and that is to retain retail on the site. I thank you for your response and your willingness to be engaged in the process! As a property owner close to the Marriott I would like to register my strong opposition to any further development that would destroy the Shoppes on Sand Key. The shopping strip is an integral part of our neighborhood. I see this as nothing but detrimental to the area and will join my neighbors in opposing any further development. Sincerely J.K.Ridley
