Interdepartment Correspondence Sheet
CITY CLERK DEP.T,
TO:
Cyndie Goudeau, City Clerk
FROM:
Cecil M. Henderson, Jr., Asst. Director of PW/E
SUBJECT:
Municipal Boundaries for County Property Appraiser
DATE:
September 14, 1992
Attached are the Property Appraisers maps with our suggested corrections marked in red.
The line reflects the city limits as of the end of 1991.
We only find one area which the City of Clearwater and Safety Harbor's city limits overlap
each other. The area in Question, along Arlie Avenue, was annexed by the City of
Clearwater in Ordinance 893 on February 18th, 1963. We do not know when the City of
Safety Harbor annexed their side. The other areas do not overlap, they leave a gap
between the various city limits. A combined effort by the various City governments, could
by annexation, eliminate these gaps. Most of the areas involve only right-of-way.

MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
DATE:
August 31, 1992
As you may recall, in July/August of 1991 this office requested that
you provide us with the latest description of your municipal
boundary. You responded very promptly to that request. Thank you.
We have finally gotten all 24 municipalities delineated and
digitized into our system. The enclosed maps are "check" plots of
your city. The boundary represents the description you provided
last year. This map does not include any annexations you may have
processed since then. Please verify the boundary line as being
correct for 1991.
We also appended this map to abutting municipalities and have
provided a plot where overlapping areas occurs. Most of those are
questions of jurisdiction of rights-of-way. If you can resolve
those conflicts it would be helpful to us all. The combined effort
between our offices will provide a valuable tool for us all.
A response from you by September 18, would help us to move forward
with this project. After that date we will update the map files
with the most current annexations and produce the final maps. We
will then send you a copy of that product.
