THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
TInS TIDRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this

1998, by and between the CIlY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a municipal
'on, (the "City''), and CLEARWATER SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB, a Florida non-profit
corporation, located in Clearwater, Florida, (the "Club''), amending the Agreement between the parties
dated October 22, 1987, as amended on July 14, 1989, and again on June 10, 1992, (the "Agreement'').
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City owns the Clearwater Shuffleboard property (the "Property") in the City of
Clearwater, which Property is used by the Club; and
WHEREAS, the Club has previously installed improvements to thirteen shuffleboard courts (the
"facility''), and now desires to install further improvements to the facility as described therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, The Parties Hereto Do Mutually Agree As Follows:
1. Paragraphs 1 and 2 are amended to read:
1. The Club may relocate the south wall of the 13 covered shuffleboard courts to the
south of the B section 13 courts, and may construct a roof canopy over this B section to increase
the number of covered courts at the property to 26, according to plans and specifications approved
by the City, and upon completion of the improvements the Club shall continue to have a license to
use the facility according to the provisions of this Agreement as amended and the prior Agreement
between the parties dated July 24, 1981, which shall continue in full force and effect.
2. Following review and approval of construction plans, the City will lend $15,000
interest free to the Club, said loan being added to the unpaid principle balance of the loans
previously made by the City to the Club. The Club shall continue paying the loans to the city in
annual payments of $2,500 on or before September 1 of each year, with the final payment now
being due on September 1, 2005.
2. All of the terms and conditions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein
shall continue in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full.
