AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ;l J

, 1988, by and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City," and the
CLEARWATER SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB, INC., hereinafter referred to as "Club,"
amends the Agreement between the parties dated July 24, 1981, hereinafter referred
to as the "Agreement."
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for the operation of a shuffleboard program
by the Club at a shuffleboard complex on City-owned property described more
particularly in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides, among other things, that the Club will be
responsible for the daily custodial maintenance of the facilities, with financial
assistance by the City; and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to increase the financial assistance to the
Club for that purpose, as set forth herein;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants herein contained and other
good and valuable consideration, the parties agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 5 of the Agreement is amended to read:
5. The Club will be responsible for the daily custodial maintenance
of the facilities and will hire an individual to keep them in a presentable
state at all times. The City will budget $200.00 per month, beginning with
the month of November, 1988, $l99099fm6H-1:h and remit same to the Club
to assist with this expense.
2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force
and effect for the term of this Agreement unless subsequently amended.
