AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT

This Amendment made and entered into this r
1980, by and between the City. of Clearwater, Florida, a Florida municipal
corporation and the Clearwater Downtown Development Board,
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1979, the City of Clearwater and the
Downtown Development Board entered into an agreement relating to the
operation of an operation known as the Farmer's Market; and
WHEREAS, the agreement is to terminate on May 31. 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Board has requested that the
market be made a continuous operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and
understandings contained herein, it is agreed by the parties as follows:
1. That paragraph two (2) of the Agreement dated December 4, 1979,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"This agreement shall be considered to be a continuing
agreement with the farmer's market to operate as
provided in paragraph one (1) unless otherwise terminated
as provided herein in paragraph six (6). 11
2. That paragraph six (6) of the Agreement dated December 4, 1979, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"The farmer.'s market program provided for herein
may be terminated at any time by either party upon
providing thirty (30) days written notice. "
3. In all other respects the provisions of the Agreement dated December 4,
1979, are hereby ratified and confirmed and are to remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have set their hands and seals the
day and year first above written.

RULES FOR CLEARv~TER FAR~ER'S "~KET, 1979-80:
1. Location: Parking Lot No.9 on the South Side of Cleveland Street
across the street from the Bank of Clearwater.
2. Hours: Saturdays, 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.
3. Fresh produce and arts and handcrafts are allowed. Arts and handcrafts
must be made by the seller. The market manager may reject. any produce
which is not of good quality.
4. The following are expressly PROHIBITED:
Canned or prepared food;
Used merchandise; antiquesj imports;
Factory-made or mass-produced merchandise;
Live animals or pets, except exotic birds;
Fish and meat products;
5. Each vendor must sign a receipt for a copy of these rules and be
assigned a place and agree to entirely remove his display and clean
up his place by 12:00 p.m.
6. Vendors may use public restrooms in the police station across Park
Street.
7. For the convenience of the vendors, sales taxes may be turned in to the
market manager'at 11:30 a.m. Sales taxes not turned in to the market
manager are the responsibility of the vendor to turn in to the Florida
Department of Revenue.
8. Any use of weights and measures must be approved by the Department of
Agriculture. (446-6359)
9. The market manager will collect a fee of two dollars per space to help
defray operatip-g costs.
