On December 21t 1989t the City Commission approved a $20tOOO cash contribution
to the Bombers' organization to help fund its softball season and to conduct a
special clinic.
The first $10,000 block of this funding for the softball schedule can be mailed
immediately to:

The second $10,000 funding block for the special clinic can only be disbursed
according to the following guidelines:
"Incremental funding ($5tOOO maximum increments) of this second major
funding block can only take place after a description of the program
and progresst and an affirmative recommendation of the Parks and
Recreation Director and approval by the City Manager. At this point,
the check still cannot be mailed. The recommendation and approval by
the City Manager will then be forwarded in writing to the City
Commission for review. Barring Objection by the City Commission,
within a designated 5-day review time frame, the check may be
processed for payment by the Finance Division. The City Manager will
provide to Finance a final written authorization so there will be no
doubt that Finance has the authority to mail the check."
